THOSE DURN LOUD COMMERCIALS

I have been in a writer's funk for a bit, actually, I always have lots to say, but I have been having fun reading other blogs. Really, I have been up to my waist in gators and boxes for a move so I have backed away for a bit.
Todays subject is the durn LOUD commericals.
I mean, how loud to they have to be every 7 minutes when they scream at us for 3 minutes? If I have to listen to Billy May one more time, I may start screaming also.
No wonder I have turned to watching Asian tv programs, they have a commercial every 12 to 22 minutes and sometimes they don't last long enough to go to the bathroom.
I have timed one station that has one break in the evening at under 8 secs. They have wonderful Dramas, vs. our soaps, and they last anywhere from 12 episodes to 150 or so, then they move on to the next one.
Not only are some of our commercials they loud, but some are just downright bad. And the repetition is sooooo boring.
Last night it hit me as to why they feel so compelled to scream at us during the commercial.....so we can hear it while going to the kitchen for snacks.
So..if anyone has any connections to the big cheeses in commercial land, please tell your boss...no more screaming.
