CARTOONS CARTOONS CARTOONS

I know this sounds silly, but did you have that one cartoon you rushed to the drive in to see before the movie? Or got up really early on Saturday morning to watch it?
I loved to get there early to watch the Roadrunner, I liked Bugs and Elmer,
but when I got older, I fell into the "Pinky and Brain" for older people, well done by Spielberg.
Once in awhile you can still catch it on TV in some obscure place. The dry humor cracked me up.

Pinky and the Brain are hysterical! I could never find them on TV more than 2 times in a row so I didn't see them often.

I was hooked on Rin and Stimpy for a while. It helps to be a little sick in the head to like R&S, though.

Now I watch South Park. I also enjoy Reno 911 and the Mind of Mencia. No one escapes the satire, everyone gets skewered equally

Was there a way to know what Cartoons were gonna show before a flick at the Drive-In? To me, it was always a pleasant surprise.

I remember WTTV Channel 4 had an after school show for kids, hosted by a guy named Les....something or other. (He was also their weatherman).
He showed an episode of "The Little Rascals", then a "Popeye" cartoon. I loved the Rascals.....tolerated Popeye.

Saturday mornings, when I could roust myself outta the rack, (I was always a late nighter, and Saturday mornings were generally for sleeping in), I liked Deputy Dawg, and Rough and Reddy. I'd love to see those episodes now, as I think they were probably like many modern cartoons...humor at two levels.....for kids, and at a level kids couldn't understand.

Nowadays, I too like "The Animaniacs".....
Yacko, Wacko, and Dot.
Pinky and The Brain,
Goodfeathers,
Mindy and Buttons..."Okay, I love you, bye-bye!"

I think they're regularly available if you look for them on either the Cartoon Network or some of the other kid Networks. I'll start watching for them and update you when and if I find something.

"That's all, Folks"....for now.

Gosh, if anyone knows where I can find Pinky and Brain, please let me know, I am having a hard time finding it here and God knows I need the laugh.
Also was a big watcher of SkyKing, and the Cisco Kid.
Awww those wonderful Saturday Mornings. Eating in front of the TV on those little metal tv trays they used to have so you wouldn't miss a minute of any of them.

Okay, Animaniacs lovers...

Take a look here

Apparently it's no longer on TV, but you can get your fix by buying the DVD!
